Registration for the 77th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management is now open! The Program and PDW Chairs are developing an exciting program that features the Teaching and Learning Conference, All-Academy Theme sessions on “At the Interface,” theory- and method-oriented PDWs, paper presentations, and innovative symposia. Join us -- as a participant, presenter, discussant, and/or attendee.

You won’t want to miss the All-Academy Networking Breakfast & Academy of Management Presidential Address and Awards Ceremony on Sunday, August 6th. We’ll celebrate the lifetime achievements of distinguished members who win awards for teaching, research, and scholarly service. Anita McGahan’s Presidential Address will deal with scholarship as activism under challenges to academic freedom and scholarly exchange. You’ll see these topics reflected in several other provocative sessions on Sunday’s All-Academy Theme program.

Atlanta offers a truly inspirational setting for our meeting. The city rose from the ashes of the American Civil War in the 1860s, was a primary organizing center of the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s, and today is a major transportation hub and home to the world’s busiest airport. Atlanta will be warm and sunny in August but the main conference hotels are conveniently linked by air-conditioned sky bridges. I look forward to seeing you At the Interface in Atlanta!

The Academy of Management Annual Meeting is the premier conference for more than 10,000 students, academics, scholars, and professionals in the scholarly management and organization space. The 77th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management will be held August 4-8, in Atlanta, Georgia, USA; sessions will take place at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, Hilton Atlanta, and Atlanta Marriott Marquis. The program theme is At The Interface.

Great news! The Annual Meeting program will be available in 3 electronic formats: Dynamic Edition, Mobile App, and Online version. Not only are the electronic versions of the program easily accessible and simple to use, but they help reduce waste! Learn more at aom.org/tech
Printed programs will be offered onsite in limited quantities.*

* Did you know that it would take 594 tree seedlings grown for 10 years to sequester the carbon emissions created by last year’s programs.

We hope to see you all in Atlanta!
The one-day Teaching and Learning Conference is an Academy-wide response to the growing teaching-related needs of AOM members across the globe. The goal of TLC@AOM is to assist members across all divisions as teachers. The conference is designed to support AOM members' teaching roles, increase teaching visibility both within and outside the Academy, and position the Academy as a global leader in management education in addition to its current leadership in management education research.

Registration for the TLC conference is $130 in addition to the registration fee for Academy of Management Annual Meeting. Your TLC fee covers full participation in the event, which includes the Luncheon Plenary and refreshment breaks, access to all morning and afternoon sessions, and teaching resource materials provided by presenters. This year, the guest speaker will be Ken Brown from the University of Iowa. The Teaching and Learning Conference will be held on the Sunday of the AOM Annual Meeting, prior to the refereed scholarly program. Join your colleagues in this day-long event for advancing teaching and learning in the Academy!

All attendees participating in ANY session, event, meeting, social or workshop, including presenters, AOM members, invited guests, chairs, discussants, facilitators, and speakers MUST be registered to attend. New Member rates include a 1-year membership.
